2010 September 18 - Rafah - Gaza<br />
Family in a beggarly house in Rafah refugee camp. The grandmother fled her house in Sarafand (Israel) in 1948. She lived in a tent for about two years and lost her child because of bad living circumstances. The UN finally build houses for her family and the many refugees. Sixty years later she is living with her son and his family in a house with a bad and dangerous electricity network, a primitive bathroom, cracked walls and a corrugated roof. Rafah camp is situated along the border Gaza-Egypt, where the smuggling tunnels are situated. F16 war planes are flying over the area constantly.
